My goal for 2014 is to improve my swimming and biking, and complete the Double Mussel and REV3 Poconos 70.3 races. I'm in the process of moving from Rochester to Albany, and am looking forward to making some new friends!
I think I’m in over my head a bit. I can run 6 miles on a flat surface. I can run hills. I’m just worried about running 6.2 miles on a hilly course! I really should have picked a flatter course for my first one!
I ran at Dawes Arboretum today. 7 miles total but I stopped after each of four loops. Legs were achy from a hard leg day Friday with the trainer.
The 10K is in three weeks. I have a 5K next week, so I’m curious to see how much my time improves. I’m going to take it easy on the running next week to prepare — 5 miles Monday and 4 miles Wednesday.
After running today I did my circuits and then abs. Serious soreness, good day tomorrow’s an off day.
