My goal for 2014 is to improve my swimming and biking, and complete the Double Mussel and REV3 Poconos 70.3 races. I'm in the process of moving from Rochester to Albany, and am looking forward to making some new friends!
I'm going to register for the Conquer the Creek trail run Mar. 19. It's 6.5 miles off-road at Alum Creek. Should be a good time. It also fits with my training schedule, I have 10 scheduled that day, so I'll just do a long warmup.
I ran this race last year - it was A LOT of fun and VERY hard for me! You will have a blast though - it is really pretty up at Alum Creek and it was definitely an experience I will never forget. It was the first trail race I ever did and now I want to run more! Have fun - can't wait to hear how it goes for you!
